For this reason, Studio Smoll designed a patented way of forming the edge with precision non-continuous laser cuts on the leather. By using environmentally friendly vegetable tanned leather imported from Italy, this new attempt of design has changed traditional ways that require sewing and adhesive. Like playing with a piece of paper, through folding and passing, the leather naturally stands into a firm structure. Making this kind of leather sheets into modular allows bags to repair partial parts while hurt, exceedingly extends lives of bags.
