Rust Converter - Dinitrol RC_900 | Converts rust into a stable organic iron complex, well apparently. Of course like you I don't really know what that means. Lets hope it kills any rust and primes it ready for painting so that it firstly doesn't rust again, and secondly doesn't bleed through my top coat Step 1 - Get rid of most of the rust, a steel brush or if you have it sand blaster will do that nicely Step 2 - Clean it, probably a solvent is best for this but I guess soap, water and elbow grease (careful not to get the elbow grease on the surface you ate trying to clean) Step 3 - Spray the clean dry warm surface (Ideal conditions are 15degC 60% humidity) That's it, so easy even I could do it. Of course you could add additional coats, I'm think I will go with three. You are left with a rust free paintable surface. Looks good so far... We are Bused_As We are converting an old Hino School bus into a motorhome. An accountant and an analyst we are not exactly qualified for the task but gunna give it a crack anyway. What could possibly go wrong :)
